Baby Checkup and Update

I went to the doctor this morning. When you have been to the doctor enough times and had to pee in a little bitty cup each time, you get good at it. That is a scary thought! I am good at peeing in a cup. But I do each time to make sure all my levels are where they are and then if they are, I dont have to give blood! The best part of all, because I like all my blood right where it is, on the inside.

I am 17 weeks and a couple of days today. The baby is floating all over the place. It took my doctor a little bit to find him/her today because he/she was moving so much. Even to the point that we were talking about going to do an ultrasound. But eventually the doctor was able to locate the heart beat. Right on target and doing well. I measure fine. Weight is still no gain (I know I know, dont worry it will all come.) I am starting to show a little bit. My clothes are starting to get a little snug in the waist, but I am hoping to make it till the end of February without having to buy too much.

I set the date for the BIG ultrasound - February 24th at 3:30pm. Then we will know what this little one is. Anyone want to take bets?

Everything else is going well. BJ and I are both getting geared up for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We each have many different things to get ready! Hope you are all doing well. Talk to you soon! Love ya bunches!

Beginning of the New Year

Well I still have a couple more weeks till I go back to the doctor. I am feeling really good. Not showing at all, but have had two or three hormonal episodes as BJ calls them. They have been the crying ones, which aren't any fun (fyi). I have been sleeping really good and usually sleep through the night if BJ and BO do. But that rarely happens. If you haven't had the opportunity to meet Bo this is him:

Bo is now my baby as BJ would say. I have spoiled him. He is a very protective dog, especially of me (and Taylor!). When BJ isn't home I would let him sleep out. We are now working really hard at leaving him out all the time during the evening when we are home. We have tried a couple of times to leave him out by himself, but that isn't working well just yet. But he is spoiled rotten.

Just a little update about us. Got about 6 more weeks till the BIG ultra sound. Will post more pictures later! Have a great week.

Christmas and the New Year

Well we made it! It was a wonderful time to stop and spend time with family and friends this Christmas and New Year. We were able to get to my parents for the New Year and do some hunting (I will have to post pictures later).

I went to the doctor on Dec. 28th and everything is going well. Got to hear the heart beat and see a foot. I have my BIG ultrasound in February. So just waiting for that. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. And already ringing in the New Year with much excitement. Talk to you all soon!
