A Wedding, Dr. Update

B and I had a wedding to go to on Saturday Mr. and Mrs. R! Thank goodness for JBF (Just Between Friends) they are a resale group and I was able to find this black dress for less than $10! I know you are proud (my husband was super proud!). We got to spend the day hanging out with friends and each other! Rare occasion for us!

Now my FIL went to the house Saturday while we were at the wedding to show the painter what we wanted done. On the coffee table in the living room was the baby's name (full name!) all spelled out in blocks. Not sure if he noticed or not, but I *think* we have narrowed it down and are sticking to it. Giving B a couple more weeks to come up with all the mean jokes he can for the name...just to test me. We shall see. June 4th isn't that much further.

Doctor Update: Went to the doctor today. Everything still on track. Measuring great, heart beat right at 135, and I didn't gain any weight (for me, that is a relief!). Everything else is going good. I am feeling good, not crazy swelling (yet, I hear it is to come). Still working and doing good. Go back in two weeks!

My first Baby Shower...

I don't have all the pictures just yet, but as soon as I have more I will post them. Thanks to Mrs. C for opening up her home to host my first baby shower this past weekend. It was a wonderful shower and I am so blessed to have so many friends. Thank you to Mrs. T and Mrs. N as well - they also were hostesses and helped do so much. The food was GREAT! And we finally finished off the cake. Below are a couple of pictures.

Another bag of baby items from Mrs. C. It had a toy that went across the baby carrier. There was no off switch to the toy, but I can take the batteries out if need be!

I have some more pictures to post as well. But I have to get them all. I walked out of the house on Saturday headed to the shower and had my "to do" checklist. Keys (check), hostess gifts (check), shoes (check), purse (check)...and on my way I went. I got halfway to Mrs. C's house and realized that I did not have any makeup on! OOPS! Thank goodness it is in the car, and I was able to pull over and put some on before getting there. Thanks again to all the ladies that came. It was great to sit and talk with you all and hear your stories. In fact it was more than great, it was a privilege! I appreciate the time you took out of your schedules to be with me.

Can you believe that I am 31+ weeks? WOW how time has flown by. Just 8 weeks to go...but who is counting??
